Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

I started at the MFA as the events calendar editor in the Creative department and was promoted to associate editor after two years. In that role, I managed event listings for the donor magazine Preview and wrote feature stories and other content. Since Marketing lacked a full-time writer, I also jumped in to craft everything from ad campaigns to exhibition wall text.

My biggest impact? Revamping the MFA’s email marketing. With sky-high unsubscribe rates and copy that reinforced the museum’s "stuffy" reputation, I flipped the script—making emails engaging, story-driven, and authentic. The result? Stronger brand awareness, higher membership and sales, and packed events.
